Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of connecticutregisteredagent.co (the "Site") and the registered agent services ("Services") provided by Connecticut Registered Agent.co ("we," "us," or "our"). Access to the Site or purchase of Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Connecticut Registered Agent.co provides:

• A physical street address in Connecticut meeting Secretary of State requirements for registered agent designations
• Acceptance of service of process, official correspondence, and legal documents at that address during normal business hours
• Same-day scanning and electronic delivery of received documents
• A secure online portal for document storage and retrieval
• Compliance reminders for annual report filings and other state obligations

We do not provide legal advice, tax guidance, entity formation filing services, or representation before any court or governmental body.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to bind the business entity being enrolled. All information submitted during enrollment must be truthful and complete.

3. Pricing

• Service is priced at $99 per year, billed at enrollment and upon each annual renewal
• We accept major credit and debit cards as indicated at checkout
• Prices may be adjusted with at least 30 days advance written notice before renewal
• Failed payments may result in suspension of Services pending resolution

4. Service Term

The annual term begins on your enrollment date and renews automatically unless cancelled. We issue a renewal reminder prior to each billing.

5. Cancellation

• Cancel by emailing support@connecticutregisteredagent.co before the renewal date
• Service continues through the end of the current paid annual period
• No partial refunds are issued except at our sole discretion
• You must designate a new registered agent with the Connecticut Secretary of State upon cancellation to maintain your entity in compliance

6. Client Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide and maintain accurate entity and contact information
• Update us promptly if your entity name, status, or contact details change
• Retrieve and act upon forwarded documents in a timely manner
• Maintain your entity in good standing with the state independently of our Services
• Use our address exclusively for registered agent purposes

7. Document Handling

• Documents are accepted during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM ET)
• Scanning and electronic delivery occur the same business day
• We bear no responsibility for the content, meaning, or legal consequences of received documents
• Physical documents are retained for 90 days following scanning, then securely destroyed unless return shipping is requested (at your expense)

8. Disclaimer of Legal Services

Connecticut Registered Agent.co is not a law firm. No content on this Site or in our communications constitutes legal advice. Consult a licensed Connecticut attorney for legal matters.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Total liability for claims related to Services is capped at fees paid in the preceding 12 months
• We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Connecticut Registered Agent.co, its owners, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of Services or breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

Connecticut law governs these Terms. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Connecticut.

12. Modifications

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions are posted with a new effective date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.

13. Severability

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between you and Connecticut Registered Agent.co regarding the Services.
